New Year's Trans(ition)

Trans - a prefix indicating a shift. The world is constantly shifting and our lives continually adjusting to these pulsing changes. This is a space to document observations and ideas refracted through the shifting lens of a great post-modern metropolis. Having recently returned from yet another transatlantic journey, I thought it time to organise my thoughts and musings in a more orderly format. My years in this great city on the Thames opened my eyes to a trove of artistic, cultural, political, and sociological experiences that compel personal reaction and consideration. I begin this journey with previous writings, as there have been so many transitions during 2008 that 2009 warrants a (brief) contextual history. Without further ado, here's to a trans(plendent) 2009.
