I am normally not one to plug overtly political causes, however a judge in California has made a ruling too delicious to pass up. The list of donors to the anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 campaign has been made public - The Dishonour Roll. In light of the much praised film Milk, I think this list has more than enough relevance. Gus Van Sant's wonderful direction demonstrates the folly of social constructions that serve to hinder the freedom and happiness of ordinary citizens. The history of the LGBT movement is one that few are aware of, but one that warrants further attention. Go out and read your social history books for a change. So now for something completely different - let me endorse Milk and suggest those who are able to boycott the businesses on the 'Dishonour Roll'.
